When we are closed
Outside normal surgery hours, eg. evenings, weekend and Bank holidays, medical care is provided by the North Wales Out of Hours Service, the recognised out of hours service commissioned by Betsi Cadwaladar University Local Health Board.
The service is operational between 18.30 hours and 08.00 hours Monday to Thursday and at weekends from 18.30 hours on Friday to 08.00 hours on Monday. The service is also available for ALL Bank Holidays.
Calls are taken by fully trained staff and mobile patients are expected to travel to an out of hours centre to be seen.

Out of hours cover is the responsibility of a co-operative, 'North Wales Out of Hours, based at Glan Clwyd Hospital with a satellite at Llandudno Hospital.
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not aks to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
If you require a dentist in an emergency please phone the dedicated NHS Direct Dental Helpline on 08456010128. This line has been specially established to deal with all dental enquiries and is open 24 hours a day.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
