Please allow 48 hours (two working days) for your prescription request to be processed.
If you are on long-term medication, you will receive a computerised prescription with a tear-off reordering slip attached to the right-hand side. Please retain the reordering slip when you go to the Pharmacist. This allows you to reorder repeat medication without seeing your doctor every time.
Whenever you need another prescription, tick the relevant items on your reordering slip and either put it into the box by reception or send it to us by post.
Alternatively you can order through My Health Online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration prior to using this system. To register youself to order your medication through My Health Online you will need to call in to the surgery to fill in a My Health Online registration form - this is a one off registration. As part of the registration process you will be asked to prove your identity. This is one of the measures in place to protect the information that your GP holds about you. Once registered you will get a registration letter containing your PIN number and Access ID - you will then have 24 hours to activate these. Once registered you can go online to order your medication securely though My Health On Line. For help on how it works please click here.
Unfortunately it is not possible for us to take requests for repeat medication over the phone.
Certain medications cannot be prescribed without seeing your doctor on each occasion. The receptionist will advise when this is the case.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
