We provide a service to take blood within the surgery for all tests approved by a healthcare professional. We are not able to take tests for which there is no clear clinical need.
As a failsafe system, we ask patients to contact the surgery for results if they have not received them within two weeks (unless you have been informed that a delay is expected). Please call the surgery after 2pm for your results.
Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.
Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
